Finished Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I was a bit disappointed in Harry's character. Though I understand he's going through his teenage years. Granted, I still enjoyed the book. The 3rd book is still my favorite even though the movie couldn't represent.
I'm kind of bummed out that I can't kick it with my friends in the Twin Cities tonight. My sprained left ankle is too painful to stand on. I need to let it heal for the Boundary Waters canoeing/camping trip next week. That trip is a little more important.
I guess I'm watching Olympics on a Friday night while icing my ankle. Fun. Unfortunately, I already know the result of the USA quarterfinal basketball game thanks to the internet and NBC's delayed coverage. What was the US thinking when they made Boozer, Carmelo and LeBron late additions to the team? Where are the long range shooters? Answer me that. I'm going to watch the WNBA from now on. Go Seattle Storm!

They really oughta stop calling the US Olympic basketball team the "Dream Team." That title belongs to the NBA players back in '92, but definitely NOT this year's team.
